    I'm an alum of USL and I voted for UL- LOUISIANA.

    The name change is long overdue. If the idiots in BR (both LSpuke people and legislators) think we are such a joke, then they shouldn't have a problem with the name change.

    Do you think we'll be able to acomplish it if we resort to name calling. Remember it is the legislature that is vested with the authority to approve the change.

    Sorry. I couldn't help myself.

    But seriously, I know that the legislature is responsible for making the change. However, some of the ones who can make the change are lawyers. There are only 4 law schools in the state, one of which is LSU. Tulane and Loyola grads could care less because most Tulane grads end up leaving the state and Loyola doesn't compete with LSU or UL on an athletic basis. I think our only hope on this is to have Governor Blanco really push for the change.
