Aided by a stellar performance from quarterback Blaine Gautier, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns overcame Sun Belt foes Florida International University, 36-31 Saturday in Miami.
"This is a very important win for our football team," said UL head coach Mark Hudspeth. "We knew coming in that this would be a measuring stick for how far we've come and how far we have to go.

http://www.thevermilion.com/second-p...golf-1.2616291With all of the talent Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns golf team has had in the past few years, it is amazing that sophomore Christoph Weninger became the first Cajun since 2008 to have a tournament first place finish, a testament to the talent Weninger possesses.
Weninger led the Cajuns to their best finish, second place, since September 2010 in the Sam Hall Intercollegiate, but the UL's finish was bittersweet. UL led by three strokes after the second round, however, they allowed the University of Missouri at Kansas City to overtake them by two strokes on the final day.
http://www.thevermilion.com/the-most...-era-1.2615454As I'm writing this, it's Saturday night and the Cajuns pulled off the upset to defeat the Florida International Golden Panthers, and all I can think about is how bad I want to go back in time and kick my own (butt).
http://www.thevermilion.com/volleyba...play-1.2615450Conference play did not start well for Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns as they lost 1-3 to the University of South Alabama and then 1-3 to Troy University. The Cajuns serving woes continued having only six aces and 20 errors.
