New unis - simply absolutely GARISH! I don't see any improvement from the recent unis, but I am a traditionalist and that's my final grain of salt....maybe. I hope the team doesn't play down to the unis.

Looks like Hud hit a homerun with the uniforms IMO. Now, if we could just do something about the helmet...triple fleur des lis, interlocking UL, or just a plane "L" would all be equally perfect.

Maybe we could cover the helmet with the tine fleur des lis's! It would look a little like the Ohio State helmet late in the year.

No WOW factor like I expected.. Hate the Fonts. Hope they don't renew a russell contract. I was kind of expecting the black helmet also.. Parrott quote " From what I was told last night, the new uniforms will incorporate more black (with vermilion) as well as the fleur de lis. The Cajuns will also have black helmets. I'd expect the unveiling to come..." I wonder who told Parrott about black helmets?..

While I think the black helmet would look awesome, it's being done. Arkansas state, texas Tech, and Northern Illinois. The only team I can think of with red hats red jerseys and black pants is eastern washington and thier FCS. So at least we're unique.

I personally like the red on black. I'd like to see a black jersey with red pants red hat. that could be cool.
