I made a few avatars for here, and I remember it being a tedious process of resizing and resizing again to try to get it into the correct size for the site because if you're even off by the most insignificant amount it won't accept it. But that is how I got the picture of me playing bass as my avatar.

To start off... Coach Hudspeth needs a more serious expression.

Looks like History of the World Part I. (Which is a great movie, but probably not what you're going for.)

Did you use a specific program?

This was my first shot at it. I Couldn't find Coach Hud screaming or yelling but that would have been better.

No, I just used basic photoshop. when you try to upload an avatar on yer profile, it will say "Image must by ##x##", and I'd go to the tab at the top of photoshop that says "image" and go down to the thing that says "Image size", you should be able to manually change the dimensions of the image to try to fit into the ##x## size that it asks for. If that didn't work, to get the image the way I wanted it, I would resize manually using the drag tool and crop off the edges. I hope that helped ya out trying to create an avatar.

I've used the basic Microsoft Picture Manager to re-size photos to fit the requirements for RP in the past.

You can also upload it to photo bucket and resize it there.

Looks right out of the Inquisition number.

Thanks I used gimp. I'm still not happy with what I've done. I have a great HQ shot of a UL helmet and this doesn't do it justice. I guess I just have to play around more with it. Thanks again.

I've made a few before. First you stick a marshmallow on a coat hanger and stick it in a fire. When it gets hot, you put it between two Hershey Bars and add Graham Crackers to the outside. They're really good!!
