Dr. Bruno is the best man for the job at ULM! He served in the system office for five years and he knows the system, regents, and the legislature inside - out! He is a financial "wiz" can quote an edit any process and procedure within the system and very easily at the ULM level of business an academics! He already served at ULM in their era of financial crisis several years hence and helped to preserve the solvency of the institution! No doubt, he is the best man for the job in these tough economic times! Happy or not, he will do well at ULM!

    Gerald,
You and the search committee did a great job. I'm just pointing out how little they appreciate it. They actually think the committee had it out for them.

    Slightly off topic:

Since Baton Rouge decided to retake UNO . . . I'm thinking BRUNO would have been the man for the job in New Orleans.

Will Bruno be expected to lead ULM through a "downsizing" process of sorts? The Jindal administration speaks often of the elimination of duplicate programs at all state universities other than LSU. Is ULM the sacrificial lamb in north LA? Will Nichols, or maybe McNeese, share the same fate or will UL will be expected to take the same % cut as the other 4 year ULS universities in south LA? Will we soon be hearing of the elimination of entire programs at UL? This while in north LA, ULM is sacrificed in order that La Tech be exempted from having to eliminate any programs?
