Default Proud of these boys tonight...

We just took the #2 National seed to the brink in their own park with an ace on the mound. We had them ____ing in their panties. Were not done yet. Tomorrow we need to do it to Rice one more time and get our second shot at Texas. And if we cant get past either Rice or Texas, oh well, it sure was one helluva ride with this team. I would take a team like this every year over the past two years. I dont think alot of you realize how lucky we are this year. Hats off to TJ Geith. Two bad pitches were his undoing but he kept us close and did his job and gave us the chance. When Ruffin came in, closed the door like he always does. What a pitching staff. Hats of to Texas, they truly are one of the best teams in the nation. Tomorrow is another day.

    Buy the ticket...take the ride.

Man I have really enjoyed the post game interviews by the coaches and players of both teams----The Texas coach gave us a heel of a lot of praise and as you mentioned about a couple of pitches so did Robe---Had our chance and they got an out for a run!!!!

tonight's game made the drive worth it. Our pitching staff has an ERA of "2.00" against two of the best teams in the country. Even in a loss, it was awesome to watch.

We will beat Rice tomorrow afternoon and then...another shot at the Cows!

If this team doesn't have the respect of anyone with a brain, then they fell on their heads. Two extremely gutsy performances against national powerhouses. UT had their hands full all game and yes we came up short but we hung in there. Just didn't get the big lick.

We have to now face the #1 pitcher of Rice and if we get through them somehow we get to face UTs #1. I guarantee we'll go out there and put it all on the line no matter who we face.
