    Or did the direct access from Wuhan cause their problems? The match may be what spread the virus across the rest of the country, but that's not what brought the virus to northern Italy. Italian fashion houses outsource their work to China, specifically to Wuhan. It's been going on for years and more than 300,000 Chinese nationals live in Italy with 90% of them working in the garment industry. One of the unforeseen problems that come with caving into cheap labor for larger profits.

    💯. Imaginary green light for you

    Plus the long Chinese new year break (15 day holiday in late January through mid February) meant a large number of Chinese nationals traveled back and forth during this time


    To the article's point, yes limiting large gatherings was the right call.
