Any of you ardent baseball people wondering if all the emotion that will be involved pre game will make it difficult for the guys to focus once the game starts. I know Coach Deggs has been successful everywhere he has gone. I do wonder how he does it since baseball is the sport that is the ultimate even keel game. Don't know how you can stay on that much of an edge for 60 plus games. We are about to find out.

I would frame it as there is a very good ball club about to come in our house and try to spoil a ceremony dedicated to Robe. Go get the job done boys.

We're working on it. Too close. 3-1 B4. Need hits.

6,700 miles away with tears in my eyes listening to this. I honestly feel like I'm there.

Jay mentioned during the pregame ceremonies that "Green Onions" was officially being played for the last time at the park as they were retiring it. That probably choked me up the most this evening.

Me too. I had never thought about missing the small stuff like that. It's only right, though. I still love that it took decades for Tony to learn the name of the song.

Yeah hadn't thought of that before I heard it.

When Deggs went to the mound he walked out to Lauren Daigle's song Rescue Me. I think Tony would approve.
