As a member of the RCAF, I'm sure many of you also received the mail out from Dr. Maggard introducing LET's GEAUX - the Strategic Plan for UL Athletics. I think this kind of communication and transparency is what sets him apart and has endeared him to the UL community.

What struck me is its a 3 year plan. Get it done by 2022. He's basically saying "let's roll people".

As for license plates, I don't mind if that is axed. Nice thought but use the funds for something else. The document language is not specific, but if we're going to truly be aggressive, let's also take a hard look at which dead weight expensive sports we can drop while adding cheaper replacements but still meet Title IX requirements. Why not Women's swimming or golf if its cheaper to operate those than say for example women's soccer or volleyball? Point being everything should be on the table for potential changes so donor dollars are getting the best return.

Interesting you brought that up...Come to think of it I donated thousands to RCAF 3 months ago and all I got was a thank you letter. No sticker, no plate, no nothing. Is that the new SOP?

Received both the packet (clear wrapped) and the Maggard letter (white envelope) today. Two window stickers, bottle opener and RCAF membership card. License plates only to new members per mailout with season tickets.
