Following its 35-14 victory against Liberty to open its home slate, Louisiana Football returns to the gridiron on Saturday, Sept. 14, when it welcomes Texas Southern to Cajun Field on Family Weekend. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.

The Ragin' Cajuns (1-1) look to extend their home winning streak to six games with a victory over the Tigers, a mark that dates back to Oct. 13, 2018, when the Ragin' Cajuns defeated New Mexico State, 66-38.

Louisiana earned its first win of the season on Sept. 7 against Liberty, taking down the flames, 35-14, on the back of 593 yards of total offense and lockdown defense in the second half.

Louisiana looks to carry on its momentum after a big win against Liberty into its next game when it welcomes Texas Southern to Cajun Field on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The matchup is the first between the two programs and the fourth time that Louisiana will face off with a member of the SWAC.

Louisiana vs. SWAC
Saturday's contest with Texas Southern will be the fourth time Louisiana has met up with an opponent from the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
In the previous three encounters with SWAC opposition, Louisiana boasts a 3-0 record and has outscored those teams, 136-42.

With the help of six different players, the Ragin' Cajuns were able to rush for a team total of 407 yards against Liberty.
The last time a Ragin' Cajun offense rushed for that many yards was on Nov. 21, 2014 against Arkansas State when they brought posted a total of 419 total rushing yards.
Trey Ragas, Raymond Calais, and Elijah Mitchell combined for 314 total rushing yards, the most the Big 3 has put up in an individual game while the trio has manned the backfield.

Bradley at his Best
Ja'Marcus Bradley finished the Liberty game with six receptions for 110 yards and two scores, the third time in his career that he went for over 100 yards receiving in a game
His 110 marked his first 100+ yard outing since Nov. 11, 2017, against Ole Miss.
Saturday's game marked the third time in his career where he had multiple touchdown receptions.
He got his season off to a great start against Mississippi State, hauling in six catches for 93 yards.

Old Reliable
Kevin Dotson earned his 40th start on the offensive line against Liberty on Saturday night.
His 40 starts are tied for the most by any offensive lineman in the country along with Ethan Reed from Louisiana Tech.

Welcome to the Show
O'Cyrus Torrence earned his first career start at left guard during Saturday's game against Liberty.
He is the first true freshman to start a game on the offensive line since Jesse Newman against ULM on Nov. 20, 2004.

Welcome Back Joe Dillon
After missing all of last season with an injury, Joe Dillon is back on the gridiron making an impact.
The redshirt junior recorded his first sack of the season against Liberty on Sept. 9 and his first since Oct. 12, 2017 against Texas State.
Dillon also upped his career sack total to 12.5.

Manac Sack
Chauncey Manac wreaked havoc on the Liberty offensive line on Saturday, finishing the game with 3.0 tackles and 2.0 sacks.
Manac became the first Ragin' Cajun defensive player to have more than 1.0 sacks in a game since Kevon Perry posted 2.0 against New Mexico State on Nov. 18, 2017.

One Punt Wonder
Rhys Byrns only punted the ball once during Liberty on Saturday.
The last time the Ragin' Cajuns only punted the ball once in a game was against New Mexico State on Oct. 13, 2018.
The Ragin' Cajuns have only punted once in a single game three other times in the last six years.
