Default ACC cutting ties with Indy Bowl

Admittedly stole this post idea form the Sun Belt board : https://csnbbs.com/thread-878962.html

"ACC cuts ties w/@IndyBowl in new 2020-25 bowl cycle, so Pac-12 may not commit to @IndyBowl w/out a Power 5 opponent, sources told @Stadium. Other ACC changes include @GasparillaBowl, @Birmingham_Bowl & @FRBowl sharing ACC's last spot"

Should the Belt look at adding this to our Bowl lineup as a permanent tie in or a rotational partner with the Myrtle Beach Bowl?

Independence Bowl would rather shut down than have G5 tie ins (probably get better attendance with regional G5 tie ins).

They should not be so darn independent.

I don't know if any other P5 would want that spot? The Indy would probably go after AAC vs Mt West before they would Sun Belt vs Cusa type match up for perception purpose. And they would lose their @$$ doing so.

Almost everyone knows the Indy Bowl is the "best bowl" scenario for L A Tech short of a NYD bowl. It's a shame NEITHER party sees that.

Considering current scheduling practices, the absolute best Indy matchup is LTU vs ULM.

LTU would turn down the bid if that happened. We all know they have don it in the past.

It's a strong, independent bowl that don't need no teams

It's Shreveport. Louisiana State wants no part of it. Destination wise, it's the necksters'. For UL, it's just something close but different than NOLA

how is only filling both of their p5 tie in slots once out of last four seasons working out for them?
