Top 25 is great but they still have to win their conference tourney to get in.
If we beat nova not too much it would be the first top 50 win in Marlin's career here

    We will do neither

There's been a new Cajun paple Bull, anything short of a conference tournament title is futility and you can't get the tournament title if you schedule tougher OOC games. Anyone in conflict will be tried in the RP Inquisition as a Cajun heretic.

Furman plays at LSU in a couple of weeks. Probably get a chance to watch them then as SEC games are usually televised in some fashion. The Tigers played their only true non conference road game last night at Houston where they were defeated in a close game. They did play in a neutral court tournament earlier and play St. Mary's in Las Vegas on Saturday. Last night, Tigers gave up a big lead in the second half and their offensive execution at crunch time was very poor. Houston had a boisterous crowd in a very nice 7000 seat arena mostly funded by one of their alums. Hard to see how playing only one road game helps prepare a team for play in a rough conference like the SEC. The fact that a team can schedule to have only one road non conference game while Prairie View will play 12 straight road games is indicative of some of the problems in collegiate athletics.

Hey Mike, the player Corey Davis, Jr. for Houston, wasn't he the kid out of Lafayette High that signed with us a few years back but had to go to jc? He seems to be a key player on their team.

He is. He went the JUCO route due to being ineligible. His junior college was San Jacinto which is right outside Houston. He decided to stay in Houston after his JC career was done. He is one of those guys who benefited from getting away from home and some of his buddies.
