I understand this sentiment, but I would prefer that our fellow conference members get better and help the perception and production of our conference. We all want to get upgrade to a better conference, but it isn't happening overnight.

I feel very confident in our leadership that we can dominate the SBC even if it gets better. When that happens, we become much more attractive during a realignment.

My overall point is, they have the potential to be another North Texas from the early 2000s.

Agreed. If we keep our _____ together, we should still beat them, more often than not.

Remember, that run was launched with a bowl entry that included a losing record.

That north Texas team was a bad team beating worse teams. That team wouldn't compete in the sunbelt today.

Doesn't TX State have around a $30 Million athletic budget? What the hell are they doing with the money if they can't feed players and pay for adequate care from a competent trainer??

Hence the frustration with the administration and lack of success.

They do have the issue of being just down the road from UT-Austin, but have an enrollment of almost 40,000.
