I posted this yesterday under another thread.

This team is learning from its mistakes. We win our next 2 home games to go 6-5, then play ULM for the Western Division title. We win and play at Troy for the SBC championship and NO Bowl. We finish 8-5 and go to 9-5 with the bowl win. Recruiting is out the roof and we have serious fund raising towards stadium renovation. Napier has laid the foundation. UL football is about to explode!

I like the way you think. I hope we get the two at home also. I really think we need fans at ULM on Nov 24. That should be a good game and likely could decide the SBC West. ULM still has Ark St also.

Why I do I feel like we will end up in a 3 way tie with state and monroe? And somehow get screwed out of the division by some ____ty tie breaker.

If there is a three way tie, Cajuns will have beaten both teams. That's probably the only way it winds up in a three way tie.

The game in Monroe will be for the West title. Unless there is a major upset.

Nice work Dre. I added a little to it by arranging by standings and included conf records:

    E2 - GA Southern (4-1) vs Troy @Coastal @GA St
E3 - App St (4-1) @Texas St vs GA St vs Troy
E4 - Coastal (2-3) vs Ark St vs GA Southern @S. Bama (11/23)
    E5 - GA St (1-4) @Louisiana @App St vs GA Southern
    W1 - ULM (3-2) @S. Bama @Ark St vs Louisiana
    W2 - Louisiana (2-3) vs GA St vs S. Bama @ULM
    W3 - Ark St (2-3) @Coastal vs ULM @Texas St
    W4 - S. Bama (1-4) vs ULM @Louisiana vs Coastal (11/23)

How does this exactly work? Is it your overall conference record or record vs. division opponents?

Overall conference record. Record in division might be used in a tiebreaker scenario possibly...

According to a poster on the Belt forum, Louisiana could still possibly host the Championship game. I don't see how, but here's his layout.

"There is actually a crazy scenario where Louisiana could still host. This would require 6 upsets according to FPI, including Texas State beating App State and Troy.

    Louisiana would host if:

    1. They win out.
    2. Troy loses out.
    3. App State loses to Texas State and Georgia State but beats Troy.
    4. Georgia Southern beats Troy but loses to Coastal and Georgia State.
    5. Louisiana's computer ranking is higher than Georgia Southern's.

Georgia Southern, Troy, and App State would all be 5-3. Georgia Southern would win the tiebreaker due to their 2-0 record against the other 2.

Louisiana and Georgia Southern would have matching 5-3 conference records and do not play head-to-head, so the host would be the team with the higher computer ranking.

After all that, Louisiana would probably STILL miss out due to having a lower computer ranking than GS, but it's theoretically possible.

No such scenario exists for Arkansas State, by the way. Only ULM and Louisiana can theoretically host."

That Coastal loss keeps rearing its ugly head.

I REALLY don't want to play in Boone. I know you do since it is close, but I do not. Prefer Troy then GA Southern. Closer the game the more LA fans will go!

I don't cry over spilled milk. Just get me there. I don't give a ____ where we play.

What I've seen this year tells me we'd have a chance.

And, in year one, that's all I'm asking for.
