In no way am I suggesting our Def is the next Steel Curtain...but when your team scores close to 70 points...the other team will have the ball ALOT...

The opposite is the case. If you score 70 the other team is on defense a lot.

Both offenses moved quickly and easily to score. That's what caused the fast and numerous changes of possessions... scoring. If our defense would have forced quick 3 and outs... we may have scored 100. I'm cool with yesterday's game. It was fun to watch our offense. Our defense has moments. I hope they stay focused on what the coaches teach, play with passion, be their brother's keeper... and better days will arrive.

UL was 19 points from getting beat and only 10 points away from doubling them up.

Why don't they announce a player of the game at home anymore?
Is there any way to listen to the radio calls after games?

The highlights are played on the network post game show and there's a call in show following that on 1420.

If you haven't downloaded the ESPN1420 app, you should do that. Many fewer glitches than radiopup.

I wonder what MAT thinks about the attendance....

As for the as the students leaving at halftime, hundreds couldn't have left because there weren't even 100 there to start.

It's not just how often they get the ball, but how often they make huge plays. The huge play just keep coming over and over. Even when in theory not tired.

Like the plays where there's a guy wide open in the middle of the field. Or the numerous missed tackles on the quarterback that usually result in at least ten yards.

    Two things.
    1. At the end of offensive plays, it seems like there are a lot of OL players just standing around. Watching other CFB teams, it seems as if they are pushing the runner or continuing to block.
    2. Our defense will make a great play or two great plays, and then have a bad play. Like 6 yard sack, 2 yard run and then we give up a 15 yard run/pass for the first down.
