One of the things that effects attendance and even has long term effects on giving is living on campus. There are studies that show students who live on campus become much more involved with the University not only during their time on campus but as alumni as well.

The extra housing now being built should pay dividends moving forward.

Yes, that is the point I made here not too long ago: all the new housing additions on the main campus, the large one going up on Lewis St, and the new ones that they will build after Cajun Village is demolished are all huge for us. All of that will help in getting the students to be more loyal.

....I have been reading. Book one Freakonomics and Freaking thinking....Well something like that which shows kinda like thinking out of the box and solutions.....one part deals with thinking small and so maybe not solving total attendance but one by one game......How about "Greek night" where all the frats and sororities come to agame...include alumni and alumnae and have shirts for all with discounted tickets.....have them introduced etc.....now any more small thinking for one game???

Top (#?) athletic event attendees over a school year get their tuition payed for.

It would be easy to scale if there was a student athletic fee.
