Meanwhile, still no word on a change in hitting coach at UL.

How long does one need to evaluate a hitting coach? All we need to do is find the posts showing the decline in BA, OPS, slugging %, runs per game, etc over the last 3 years.

But we ragin pagers don't know what we are talking about. Nothing to see here.

Do you anticipate some resolution to the baseball staff questions sometime around July 1?

My thought is that Coach Robe is allowing Talbot to secure other employment prior to making an announcement. Looks better for all involved.

I will not feel secure until I hear the announcement of a new hitting coach. I said last year that our current hitting coach needed to be fired based on my observations and a conversation with a player's father. 2018 stats only frustrated me more. Please tell me we will get a change for 2019.

I have heard that he will remain at UL but won't be the hitting coach.

Doubt it. Intramural softball leagues require leg kicks on swings.

So if he stays and sticks to just recruiting, will he be at practices? Because if he gets that new position, he should only recruit and be nowhere near anyone in the batter's box.

Robe is taking a huge risk leaving him on the staff ... If offense stinks next year with a new hitting coach many will blame Talbot for interfering as well as Robe for keeping him.
