    I have not heard that top RPI teams from one year will automatically match up with similar RPI alliance schools the next year. That may be the case but I bet there are more considerations that go into it such as geography and the potential for rivalries. For example, I want to play USM or WKU even if their RPI the previous season was poor. Mark Adams is the scheduling facilitator and he will have much influence on how these games are set up.
