See Bobby Petrino vs Bret Bielema

One was fired for doing stupid ____ the other for being a ____ty coach ... one found a great job after cleaning up his act at WKU the other is a ball boy for the Patriots working for free

Has Robe ever fired a coach? Or has everyone we've lost left to a better job?

He's never fired a coach. They either leave baseball coaching altogether or leave for another program. This is why I believe that JT will still be here for the 2019 season.

JT needed to be fired yesterday. The hitting this past year was unacceptable, and it needs to be fixed. Do it. Do it.

If he's still here next year, I'm not renewing my season tickets.

Well, that's not really true. I'll still go to the games, but I might buy one less beer.

Well, that's not really true either, but I won't be happy. That's for sure.

Actually if JT is returning you're likely to be buying mo beer. Most exciting thing will be how fast you can get it down.

Lines will also be a heck of a lot shorter meaning more BPI ( beers per inning)

Didn't Deggs become the head coach at SHSU? Isn't a previous hitting coach now the head coach at Maryland? And, didn't one of our assistant coaches become the head coach at LA Tech?

You are affirming his second sentence.

Well everyone listed was a hit, had great hitters and hitting. Hitting has taken a real hit since the coming of JT. So hit has taken a real change in his tenure.

I have no opinion on JT, only the observation that hitting has gone to crap since his arrival four seasons ago. Each season generally downward.

Just re-read my quote...didn't word it right...meant to say all past assistants left bc of a certain individual...yet they all got HC spots when they left....that tells me no one ran them off...
