I tried to explain the freeze effect a pitch like that has after seeing 4 pitches at 93 mph before. Deaf ears.

ULM coach was definitely managing the pitching staff last night. Threw a lot of arms. We got the win and were able to save our closer. Thank you, DMO.
I'd take that guy any day. Not sure if he manages to pitch like that consistently but last night he was pretty impressive.

That outside pitch to Lefleur off the plate had him frozen.

Not directly related to this but everyone does realize the starter last night for ULM was a former Cajun player?

He is only a junior, we will see him again next year. In fact 2/3 of their weekend starters will be back next year. Justin Olaughlin who probably goes tonight is 2-2 in 12 starts with a 4.69 ERA. This is not a bad ULM team. They are not far from being very competitive in the SBC. They have 27 players that could be back next near. two of their top 3 hitters will be back next year. Including Chad Bell with 11 doubles and 7 HR's this year.

This is not your mothers ULM.

Let's just call him "The Flower" - easier to spell and we will all know who it is.
