I'll get to see him in Tulane stadium this fall. I hope he gets crushed on that night.

Smallish size. But two years playing at rummel plus he started at holy cross before that. Could be a good one.

If Rummel quarterback Chandler Fields has it his way, there will be plenty more commitments to follow him to the Rajun Cajuns.

"I wanted to commit as soon as I could so I could help start recruiting people for the program," Fields said.
But Fields found the school he was looking for.

"The whole culture over there is incredible," Fields said. "I love the coaching staff. They all believed in me and I believed in them and I think we can build a winning culture."

Fields and his high school coach both say he is "solid" on his commitment.

"He really liked ULL and did a lot of homework," said Rummel head coach Jay Roth

For those waiting on Napier to start landing big time recruits, this is a very nice start at QB. Top 30 pro style QB with a ton of upside. Well built kid, very intelligent and a person that for whatever reason seems to love our football program. Sky is the limit.

The hardest is the first bet we see some more commits here shorty especially out of southeast east Louisiana

So does this mean that we will be running a pro style offense going forward?

I don't think he's going to run a traditional pro style offense, but nothing would please me more than to see Napier running 3 TE sets, split back pro formations. Harbaugh dominated the PAC 12 and Urban dominated the SEC with those offenses. Bama has used it from time to time, based on personnel and opponent, as well.

    Chandler seems fired up.

Ready to burn the candle at both ends.

Memphis offered, with the QB play they've had the last few years says it all.

    I think that's a bad comparison

He does not extend plays with his legs he rolls out from time to time but for the most part, he is patient in the pocket and makes his progressions methodically
