    Solicitation for bids

Here's where UL solicited bids for the multi-media rights package. Some good info in these documents.

Townsquare is a big company. I'm sure they already have an established relationship with Learfield.

I just hope Jay still gets to call the games. He is by far the best man for the job.

This was in the works before Maggard got here. Learfield has been making deals with universities around the country for years now. I assure you they didn't say "Scott Farmer is in charge? Nah, we hate that dude let's not try to make any money off them."

By all means go ahead and believe whatever meme or emoji confirms your biases. 🤷

It was the other way Scotty did nothing .. If the wheels were in motion why was it highlighted in the Alden report to get a deal like this done ASAP

I think you are probably right. It is in their best interest to know as much as possible.

    Knowledge is a plugin.

Because like you said, once the Alden report was released the wheels started turning ASAP. Farmer was our AD at the time.

    YEAHH about that

"But with Farmer being ushered out roughly seven months after some of Alden's study findings were made public and Maggard not starting work until more than three months after he left, it's yet another Alden Report recommendation that's gone largely unaddressed to date"

Let's give Farmer credit for the baseball stadium too since "he was our AD at the time."

LOL, that actually confirms what I said. Thanks for proving that I was correct. "Largely unaddressed" literally means that work had been done to address it. Maybe not much, but some. And that's what I said.

I never said Farmer did a good job at it or that he deserves all the credit for it. Im not that far up the ___es of people in the Athetic Dept. to know the specifics of how this deal evolved. But he did get the ball rolling on it.

Let's be honest with ourselves. The Learfield deal would've never gotten done had Farmer still been around. Getting it started doesn't just mean "let's talk about it." It means actually getting things done.
