For the love of GOD ALL MIGHTY. Robe has to see the internal decay taking place because of zero offence. Moral looks bad, If Robe don't make a move outside of blaming himself he will feel the brunt of everyone's frustration. Loyalty is great, but blind loyalty is just blind.

At this point, we barely winning by the skin of our teeth. Every game will be a struggle. I have yet to see anything to hang my hat on in terms of hope outside of a few players like Lahare who you just got to appreciate that dudes fight.

We owe this win to Schmidt. He threw a great game. Attacked guys at the right time and pitched to contact at the right time.

Nichols is... well not very good.
But Schmidty just had his best outing as a Cajun. Down right dominant in stretches.

Speaking of alarming.. our "veterans" were waving at 84-87 mph fastballs all night long. I mean, not even close. That's alarming.

I wish we had 9 Lahares in the lineup.

Regardless, I'll be in Houston Saturday and Sunday cheering on the dudes for some wins.

Let's put it this way. I used to make my beer runs in the top of the innings when te cajuns are in the field. I didn't want to miss any of the Cajuns at bats.

Now, I'm not worried about that and take my beer runs whenever, because odds are I won't miss anything but some pop flies and strikeouts.

Pitiful, and no one will blame the real cause.

What can he do at this stage?

Fire Talbot and replace him with Jace. It almost takes skill to coach that bad

Unfortunately, I think it might need to come to that. I don't understand how we continue to make mid-week pitchers look like all-Americans. From a distance - something doesn't seem right and Talbot is the common denominator.

That will not happen while the season is underway. When it is over, lots of changes may be considered.

Doubt it we keep telling ourselves that but Robe will just take up for Talbot "It was a young Class."

Only way we get a change is if we put pressure on him to do so

I beg to differ. For one, we have only played 15% of our schedule and conference is still two weeks away.

The players went in to the game last night thinking that this would be the game when the bats wake up. And the bats were worse than on Sunday. These guys come into our program knowing how to hit. For example, Monroe Moll batted .429 with 45 home runs in high school that played other competitive high schools. Todd Lott was drafted in the 19th round solelyfor his hitting ability and would have been drafted higher if he was more sign-able.

At this point I would almost rather no hitting coach and let these guys step in the box and do what they know how to do. Clean the slate on approach and start fresh.
