    Default The shoes has dropped in college basketball!

    With all these schools implicated I wonder what the NCAA will do!? This could reshape the basketball land scape and hurt the cash train for the NCAA if they have any integrity!

    They'll blow this investigation. I have no faith in the NCAA doing what should be done.

    I don't think you have to be concerned about the NCAA having integrity. They are wh*res for the power conferences.

    UNC built a systematic set of crip course degree programs specifically to keep athletes eligible over a period of nearly 20 years and was totally exonerated by the NCAA. App probably paid $100 taxi fare for a recruit to get from Charlotte to Boone and will get the death penalty.

    UL Basketball Re: The shoes has dropped in college basketball!

    Apparently App State should have made that hundred dollar ride available to every student like UNC did with crip courses. Of course you're not obligated to advertise either.

    I'm recalling Dale Brown had something akin to what happened at UNC. They took some kind of bus ride through the state and got credit. He got in trouble because it was only available to basketball players.

    Who says red necks can't copy and improve.

    Tim Quarterman formerly of LSU reportedly received some cash.

    Unless I heard it wrong, Jay Bilas' interview on Stephen A. Smith's show was pathetic.

    First excuse: Oh, you think basketball is bad?????They need to look at football!!!!!

    Second excuse: This has been going on for years. UCLA was doing it in 60's and 70's.

    Third excuse: How was any coach supposed to know? As an assistant at Duke, was I supposed to keep an eye on the players at all times, 24 hours a day to stop people from accessing players?

    `````
    Sorry Duke is on the list, Jay. Sucks to be y'all.
    My dad told me when he taught in the 50's, Paul Deitzel would drop off "Caddies" on Friday PMs.
    Nothing new.
    Can't be. The headline says it's a probe into violations by basketball powers.
