    Default Longhorn Network

If you're like me and do not catch it (you probably are), the Longhorn Network is available on Playstation Vue (which is similar to Sling). If you have a Playstation, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV (4th generation and above), or a computer, you can stream the three game series this weekend. You may also be able to stream the Longhorn Network through the WatchESPN app with the Playstation Vue login (but Im not sure about that).

Playstation Vue offers a five day trial for free. If you are in the Lafayette area, you want to pick the Elite Package (it has Longhorn Network), or pick the basic package and add on the Sports package ($10, but it comes with the 5 day free trial). Make sure you cancel the subscription before the five day trial ends, or else you will get charged.

Also, I think both DIRECTV NOW (also similar to Sling, and not actually satellite service) and CenturyLink Stream (again, similar to Sling) have Longhorn Network as well. If you dont have LongHorn Network with your cable package, those are pretty much the only options. Good news is that they all have free trials.

I tried to access something through the LHN yesterday using my Roku (that is where I saw the Lafayette Leopards) but it popped up I need a subscription to access that network. So it does show but as far as I can tell, you have to pay for that channel.

Lots of times it is available or not depending on the programming.

You were going through the WatchESPN App? The three apps (Playstation Vue, DIRECTV NOW, and CentruyLink) are stand alone apps that you stream things through. If you can download any of those three apps on your ROKU, you will be able to catch LHN with the free trial.

BMV is giving any of you that do not have LHN in your current cable subscription an option to access it through other PAY sources that have a short term free option. So, you can either add it to your current package at the rates they charge or take BMV's advice.

Thank you much, sir. I just signed up with the century link site, and have found the first game on the guide.....it does not have either of our names, just says 'college baseball' and the name of the field.

PS Vue has an app to control your cable subscription with them. However, if you have the package with PS Vue that has LHN, you can use WatchESPN app to watch the game. It'll require you to use your PS Vue log in information to access LHN on WatchESPN.

I got a friend of mine in Houston to give me his id/pw for his DirecTV account so I logged on as him to my WatchESPN account. I can now watch LHN. I'm ready to go....

Unfortunately for me, I have Apple TV and WatchESPN. But when I clicked to watch Longhorns Network, it said I had to subscribe. My cable/internet provider is LUS.
