You're projecting. We can't win the SBC tournament if we don't win the first game of the SBC tournament.

I may not have done a good job of expressing. I was saying it's not locked in that the 12 seeds will definitely be in Boise and San Diego. If your link says otherwise, I didn't see it.

But Mike... I want to know who we're going to match up with in the Elite 8. Some of our guys have that information. They have sources.

The seed of four of the 8 play in teams is based on the overall seeds of the last four automatic bids accepted into the tournament.

Maybe but I'm not so sure. The committee seeds the entire field from 1-68. If our RPI and BPI keep getting stronger, those other teams may not have as much impact on our seeding as they would have in years past since our overall seed could be higher.

Without oversimplifying (well, maybe I am)

A Middle Tennessee can get an eleven as an auto qualifier. But, traditionally the good auto qualifiers start at 12.

It's rare that you see a mid-major (besides Gonzaga, St. Marys et al) get something better than a 12 and REALLY rare that they get a ten.

Even if we win out, I don't see us being higher than a 12 seed.

There are a few auto qualifiers (NMSU, Loyola, Vermont) that are right there with us RPI wise. We are ahead of the rest.

In a perfect world, one or more of the above gets upset in their conference tournament and are replaced by teams with worse RPI's.

Except that they aren't popular. 14 play in games since 2011 (not counting 16 seed play in games). 9 have involved 11 seeds, 3 with 12 seeds, 1 with 13 seeds, and 1 with 14 seeds. The trend is that it is the 11 seeds that are sent to Dayton for the opening round.

I am less concerned with our seeding possibility and more concerned with the team we'll be matched up againast (possibly, knock on wood, I'm deathly afraid of every opponent we have left on the schedule).

I was enjoying it for a while then Radiopup went to commercial and kept running the same commercials over and over again in a loop for about 15 minutes. I even restarted the Pup and had the same issue. Strange.

I'm not sure I understand this sentence. Are you speaking of potential auto qualifiers that are non P5 who have similar RPI's to us? I don't see either of these teams qualifying automatically if they don't win to get in, similar to us. All of this depends on the P5 conferences and how many auto's they get in on their own.

I had to airplay it over my apple tv while streaming from my ipad on Ragincajuns.com. It would help if Dan's audio was a little louder and the commercials were a little lower.

auto qualifier means they win the conference tourney auto bid. he's saying if they lose their tourney, we may move into a higher seed as a lower seed from that conf tourney would be the auto qualifier.
