If the pitching staff picks up their teachings as quickly as it seems they may, this will be one of the last teams anyone will want to see in their super regional.
Totally agree with this. Everybody, take a deep breath. Glasco has his eyes on May, not February. He's developing a staff and finding out who can HIT so we can compete in May.

Frankly, I'm not sure Mike always had his eyes on May.

I'll make this prediction: the first Super Regional Glasco gets into, he will win. Might be this year. Might not be for another year or two. But he'll win his first Super. Mark that down.

I'd rather a weathered, deep team that can beat you many ways, with a pitching staff 4-5 deep, in May, than a stack of mercy rule wins in February. We won 2-1 with 2 bunts and 14-10 in a little league park.

Guess what? We don't get many run rule wins late in May. But we'll need a bunt, and we'll need to win some crazy games.

Also helps that we're not teaching ladies to crow hop in the circle.

We got cought stealing several times, I know coach wants to run but we took the bat out of our hitters hands way too much imo.
Glasco's words: besides SS and C, he'll always look to fill his lineup with the top hitters and piece together the defense with them.

So I'm guessing our defense will always have shaky times.

LOL!!! The problem is his catchers he stated were terrible behind the plate and he knows it. He's got one capable catcher behind the plate and with the bat, Lexie Comeaux. Just coach speak on his part.

That was before the season. He did say he'd try a few folks at catcher. I want to say he said he wanted to do so to keep Comeaux fresh for May, specifically.

Now, If Comeaux doesn't see the majority of at-bats in this four-game stretch against elite pitching (at least against Florida), then I don't know what to make of an all-conference .330 hitter sitting.

But Glasco hasn't called me up yet to ask my opinion so...

Comeaux showed yesterday she will be fine.....so will Coach....I believe we probably saw his starting lineup against Iowa. Coach Glaso is feeling his way through this too guys. Needs to learn about his kids and the next step in this is seeing players in the real deal.....Coach needs to settle in on his philosophy with this team while in the 3rd base box....he gets a lot of rope this year from me

Preaching to the choir here! Me and my boys will be in tow Saturday (though we have to leave early for basketball - so dumb not to play the series at noon)

Don't know about a little league park. I'm taking that you meant a small park. 200' to a 15' wall.....that vs Lamson, a 200' distance to an 8' wall......

3 PM would be better for softball as women's basketball plays at 5 on Thursday.

Hard to believe when he has a JUCO All American on the bench and was told she may never touch the field.

Comeaux better get lots of ABs vs. Florida, because it's not like we're hitting the cover off the ball.
Probably could have seen more than 2 long balls by now if he'd quit sticking his foot in his mouth and coach more than 9 girls. Never know who you may need. Holland went down and he went to Immediate panic mode because he wasn't prepared.

    Whatever.

OK - Country - It's pretty obvious you have an axe to grind against Glasco - and for no apparent legitimate reason. Loteif loyalist? Cultist, I guess.
