Dublin on the other hand was very impressive, strong and stayed on his blocks well. I liked both, but LSU signing either is a reach. Moreau can block, but he can't get separation down field from SEC athletes. He is just not that type of athlete.
So any ideas on who Beckwith was referring to then?

Yes, but I'm not certain. I'm trying to find out.

    Gotcha. Thanks

I previously read here that he was scheduled to attend a basketball game on an official visit but it got pushed back. I guess it got pushed indefinitely back

My understanding is there will be no official visit, UL is not interested. Normally you hear things like that about athletes with grade or character questions. Neither seems to be the problem with Allen. I was told while he was at LSU, he consistently got his backside whipped by walk-ons and other linemen with less fanfare. The fact that his latest offers have been from McNeese and South Eastern Louisiana told me there was some kind of concern. That and the fact he has not visited a campus the last few weekends.

As an outsider when it comes to recruiting scoring, how are we doing this year? Seems to me we are getting interest from higher tier players this year. Or maybe it is my hope manifesting itself into this feeling. I do not keep track of who commits or decommits (not a word, autocorrect hates this word). So a cliff notes version would be great!

I think we're getting the attention of some upper-tier players, but our staff probably got in too late so they're ending up elsewhere. I like that we're swinging for the fences, and hopefully the guys we are getting prosper in whatever offensive and defensive systems we're going to be running.

Actually our known prospects seem part of a well crafted plan.

This is my impression as well. Thought maybe it was just wishful thinking.
