I think it's one 11 game one 12 game and two 16 games

Two of the games are based on the last four at-large teams. They could be 11 seeds, they could be 12 seeds.

Since the First Four began, they have never been 10 or above or 13 and below

2014 was the last time it wasn't 11 and 16 seeds.

Bids aren't stolen from people who owned said bids. Should we run the table in lose in NOLA, no one stole our bid. We didn't have a bid until we win the championship or our name comes up on Sunday. Only one team owns a bid from the Sun Belt: the tournament champion. If that's not us, we didn't get it stolen from us. We never owned the bid. Same with leagues that see 6-20 teams winning tournaments.

They are talking about other conferences, example west coast conference, if anyone else besides st Mary's or gonzaga win the tourney it's a stolen bid, lessening the already very small chance the Cajuns have of getting an at large

Stop with the at large talk...not happening.

The more "stolen" bids, the better for our seeding...provided the tournament champion ha a worse RPI than we do.

I'm rooting for any regular season champion anywhere near our RPI to lose in their tournament.

As it stands today, yes..but that could change. Should know for sure after these 2 games.

No it doesn't change anything. He's saying that no tourney upsets means we win our conference tournament as well.

If we lose our next 7 games, are we still favorites? I know it's not going to happen, but just throwing out a hypothetical.

We can still lose this conference mathematically and our next 4 gams are against #2 and #3 on the road and #4 and #5 next...don't think we will blow it but not out of the relm of possibility

Didn't realize GA State is on a 9 game winning streak. Should be a heck of a game on Thursday.

It has the chance to be a very competitive game. Note, don't be surprised if the Panthers start out strong as they will be stoked with a full gym spurring them on. Our guys just need to withstand the early run and make it a game by halftime. Hopefully our depth then becomes a factor in the second half. I also would not be surprised that when the struggle for our guys comes some on here will comment on the game thread that we can't play well when it counts or some other negative comments. I know we won't be there but I hope that we don't sell them short when following on Thursday. If you are tempted to do that, remember what happened at UTA.

Great post, as usual. I'm especially confident that our depth will be the key again this game.
