Could he have stayed on at tx Tech if he wanted? Looks like he is taking the same job here that he had in the big 12. That's an odd move. Should be great for Nola and BR area recruiting.

I don't think he wanted to be at TTU. He's now left them twice in a short matter of time. He gets the Asst. HC title here and gets to move back to Louisiana.

He was associated head coach at ttu is there a difference in the 2 positions? Great thing for us that he doesn't like Lubbock.

I would assume this means Des will coach receivers?

He could coach TE or work with QB's with Napier. Last I heard, we were still working on a WR coach to add to the staff.

Looks like the same title but at smaller school as he was an asst. Head coach at ttu also.

You can never discount that there could be personal reasons involved in his decision.

Cajun T can comment here, but we lost Xavier Woods (Cowboys) and Carlos Henderson (Broncos) due to Coach Juluke's recruiting efforts. Yep, they both went to El Aye Tech.

Really excited about this. We have been getting creamed by Tech and Tulane for a while now. Let's see if Juluke can make a dent in the New Orleans and River Parish regions.
