First game I was able to attend tonight.

Gant is a flat out beast

And Bartley was really good in the second half. 0 points at halftime and 19 after the break.

    Stroman makes a HUGE difference.

It is also worth pointing out that UNO has played top competition this year: Memphis, St. John's, Oakland, SMU, and Houston. Our margin of victory tonight was larger than any of those teams.

I don't usually put much stock in these types of statistics, but I think it gives you a good idea of what level we're playing at this year.

    This was another impressive win.

UNO is a team that you can rattle easy. 22 is good but he should had been teed up at least once. Can't control his emotions. I wish I was a student, I'd smack talk him about Sally Struthers not sending his family food.

We have a rough 3 road game stretch coming, Clemson and the Arkansas tour to open conference.

Weren't we close to that last year before the loss to Georgia. Maybe that occurred before we got to 9 wins.

I was really impressed with how methodical we were. Their length gave us some problems but we grinded it out and next thing you know it's a 20 point lead. Everyone contributed and it was a fun game to watch. Good job boys

PS...uno coach is still a turd. Smack talking fans down by 14 lol

Yep last year started with the 2 losses then 8 straight before the loss to Georgia. Finished non conference 10-3.

Regarding Stroman, for those who have not seen him play, he is a pass first point guard. Coach said we were sixth in the nation in assists going into the game. Tonight we had 21 on 29 baskets and we should have had more but a couple of plays near the basket were not finished. That may move us up on the national lists. That indicates our guys share the basketball and play with the team first in mind. Hopefully they continue to do this which will encourage more people to attend. Christmas time is difficult for some to go which is understandable. I also know if there is one bad performance the people thinking about going will not do so and those who went for the first time won't go back for awhile. That will also cause criticism of the coaching staff. Of course the inconsistent play in season's past is somewhat responsible and that is the nature of today's fans due to all the alternatives for the entertainment dollar.

This is a pretty good basketball team. They deserve some support. I'm hoping attendance starts to build after the new year.

Attendance does usually pick up in January when conference play starts. Key will be how we do on the Arkansas road trip which starts conference play around New Year's Eve. We may need to win both games to impact attendance positively.

Don't know why we're still playing UNO. They haven't done much since dropping out of 1A only to have buyers remorse.

Now it's not fun to beat them , it's a can't afford to lose to them situation.

It's not our fault Katrina destroyed their institution, and their president raided their endowment for his daughters wedding

Playing UNO last year was good for our RPI as they were SLC champs. This year they are rebuilding and have some good young players. They likely will improve as the season goes along as Thibodeaux and Zeno are two experienced guys they can build around. They will challenge again soon in their league.

It's someone's fault. Got no score, got no audio except in the breaks. Got plenty of the non live action and audio.

Thibodeaux went from choking teammates to banking in 3 pointers

Mike last year was an anomaly. They've been garbage since before dropping out of 1A. They're back to garbage.

I'll give Scotty credit for transferring to UNO. He'd never see the floor this year.

Green flight has crippled UNO, money moved to the north shore. UNO's brief drop down to D-2 or whatever they were further hurt their programs. They're trying but dying.

Their prez with the wedding...was that the idiot that declared UNO the ULS flagship?

Unless you're calling a banked three pointer it's a lucky shot. He got lucky twice. Think he's practicing those?😂😂😂😂. Not a chance.

UNO is not a good team but they are not a garbage team. Their guards are young and will improve. Their schedule has been a killer as they have been on the road virtually all season. That is likely due to the need to pay bills.

No that's a different one. The wedding scam was Ryan. Claims he was obliged to have an enormous, luxury wedding because of his job. Then wanted the university to pay for it. Raided the endowment. Eventually costed him his job. The guy who took his place got them out the LSUS into the ULS.

At that time he declared themselves the flagship, and the same year LTURD tried to annex LSU Shreveport and the medical school declaring themselves the Flagship of N Louisiana.

Yes we get StrawDOG claiming we're trying to be a fake flagship while they and UNO actually call themselves that.

By the way, not trashing Plaisance as he's got great offensive skills, but still can't stay on the floor due to propensity to foul.
