I mentioned this. With the cociere service being introduced at baseball, why cabt something similiar be done in basketball.

    20% profit on $5,000 = $1,000.00
    30% profit on $2,500 = $750.00

Sell more at a lower price and increase revenue! The math is not that difficult!

I'm pretty sure the profit margin is a little higher when you're selling a 16.9oz bottle of Dasani water for $5 when you buy it at the store for under $0.30 per bottle..

Concessions greed is wiping out generations and generations of potential fans and donors.

I agree Turbine, just trying to give a very simple example. Last time I went to buy a beer at the Cajun Dome (at the Alan Jackson concert) and was told it would be $17.00, I told the guy I only wanted one beer, not the whole keg! If I remember correctly, not long ago it was $5.00 for bottled water and $4.50 for a Coke!!!! Why can't we drink out of a hose anymore?

I like the prices being high.
It forces me to make good health decisions.

I used to have 3 beers when I went to a basketball game at the Cajun Dome. But with the high prices, I just sniff a bag of glue before going in.

Maybe for one game, or as long as necessary, we could organize a protest and ask everyone not to purchase anything! Send a message to Greg Davis that his prices are not acceptable.

After all, if we fans can get our football coach relieved of his duties, getting decent concession pricing should be a breeze!

Of course it's never that simple. There's price resistance for everything. Clearly they're happy with their math. I'm thinking they're plugging in the wrong variables.

2 beers shouldn't cost more than a 5th of crown

They'll probably eliminate craft beers because of it too...

Greg Davis gets money from the city but isn't huge on returning the favor.

He would rather sell concessions than fill up all the hotels and motels in Acadiana.

He has turned down major multi-day conventions because they had a bring your own lunch policy.

Pretty sure he can't do it because doing so conflicts with the dome's catering contract.

The catering contracts have been written and rewritten multiple times through the years with his involvement.

Go east or west choose a city, they allow conventions who do not utilize concessions because they know filling up hotel rooms is better for the city than selling peanuts.

Yeah don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's right or anything.
