    Default Fall foliage

Thinking about making a quick trip over to Acadiana this weekend. Are there any good spots for checking out the fall colors. Timing is everything when looking for the peak color change.

By foliage colors, do you mean green or brown?

Wait, are you talking about Louisiana or Canada?

Everything is still mostly green, some leaves are falling.

Sugar Cane is being Harvested, makes a nest beige/green contrast

A few years ago we did the Natchez trail through Mississippi. Parts were stunning. Just wondered if there were any spots possibly from Toledo bend to Lafayette worth checking out.

We almost did Natchez Trace last weekend instead of Mobile for football. Ended up staying home and doing neither.

NPS website said the only good colors were still way up in Tenn part of the trace.

It's just been too damn hot here. We need some cooler weather, AND it needs to stay.

Every once and a while we get a decent year but this isn't one of them. Nothing better than the smoky mountains in oct/nov.
