We've only played one conference game. A revamped defensive unit and scheme can be HUGE.

Let's do this! Who's with me??
What if "I'm with you"... are you going to say anything negative about my thong?

Oops... sorry about saying "bull shat" in Russian. I just caught on to your meaning of Moscow (Idaho). When I'm wrong... I admit it. And it was a clever statement... especially for a runner.

I'm comfortable with all of our bowl games being in NOLA. Orlando would be very inconvenient, and we as a program aren't ready for Dallas. NOLA Bowl fits us perfectly.

So you want to play there for the next 10 years .. That does nothing to advance the program

Maybe we'll be ready in 6 years or so to advance to a different bowl game. Right now, this is convienent for our fans and most importantly, our administration. It's comfortable.

But actually yeah...the above is a pretty sad thought that probably some within university leadership hold.

The only Bowl game that would advance the program more than the NOLA Bowl would be the Access Bowl, or a NOLA Bowl versus a P5.

Completely agree. All of the minor bowls are the same. Nobody watches or gives a rats ___. Might as well be convenient for your fans to attend.

Oh I don't think we win, I'm saying that's the only two games we may be favorites.

That's the only breaking news at this point. Sorry I don't see this team making a bowl game. Through four games we are averaging 41 points per game and giving up 53.75 points. 41 points should be enough to win football games with even an average defense. So mathematically we have two options, find a way to shave 14 points off the opponents average or find a way to put up 14 average points more on the board. That's asking a lot of your offense and only giving them a minimal margin of error. So ultimately it's on the defense to make plays and keep opponents out of the end zone. Currently this defense gives up on average 0.895833333 points per minute. This is not a bend don't break defense. This is a broken defense. Based on the talent available can this coaching staff, along with an analyst, put players on the field who can make plays and keep opponents from scoring at will? I have serious doubts.
