    This sucks.

Some of you millennials might not recognize this music. That is because it does not suck, which is a requirement of music today. This is called Rock and Roll....

This is what your parents listened to, and yes, we were way cooler than you are.

    Thank You Tom.

Later reports seem to indicate he is not actually dead but on life support.

I don't know where the hate comes from, but I can promise you most millennials are very well aware of Tom Petty and his music. He was also one of the few artists that continued to put out good and popular music as he got into his 60's.

P.S. Music today kicks ___ too. If you like Petty check out Mondo Cosmo:

Looks like the media jump the gun. Tom is hospitalized; condition unclear.

Every generation knows Tom Petty. That's what made him so great. My 3 year old niece sings Free Falling in the back seat all the time.

LOL!!! Every generation thinks their music is the best, I'm certainly with you on this one. Tom Petty lived a hard life, so there is no surprise he has passed away at age 66. But his music will endure!

    RIP Tom Petty
