When your program regress, you have a decision to make. We are in a regression at the moment.

Home opener last years attendance vs this years
2nd home game last years attendance vs 2nd game this year

The buyout will not come from University funds.

I think he accepted the Tulane job instead of this one. I think the offer was there for him

He never coached a day at Tulane, never offered the job at Tulane. Tulane did lead him on though as though the job was his.

Rich Rod recruited me while at Tulane. I am familiar with him. I was just too dumb to get into Tulane with their regular admission standards.

My first cousin was playing at Tulane at this time. The Tulane players loved Rich Rod and that's who they wanted, it was a pretty big shock when Chris Scelfo got the job over him. He was also one of the finalist for the MIddle Tennessee job in 98. That was the time he talked to UL but not sure how far he got. When he was passed by both he went to Clemson to join Bowden.

Was there a coach here that used a University car to interview for a job at the school in Ruston? (or something like that) I guess my memory on things like this is pretty bad.

I honestly think we would be about where our perceived peers are. Somewhere between Memphis and Houston with better stick and ball sports.
