Rojas just hit a three run bomb to CF to give Sam Houston a 4-1 lead over JC Clooney and Arizona in the T6th.

Nice to see South Alabama knock off Mississippi State. USM vs. USA should be fun.

Texas - UCLA ... the type of game you expected.

And Iowa stays hot with its upset of Houston. 3 plays 4 in the winner's bracket tomorrow in Houston.

Thus far, three #1 seeds (including one national seed) go down in openers.

Riley Cooper is pitching right now for SHSU. Good to see him doing well.

Man I wish the Cajuns were playing this weekend. Well...while I'm wishing, I wish we were showing off our absolutely beautiful park!

Oh, how awful to be the hitting coach of the #1 team in the country. Hold on to those boot straps, Matt!

Tide hired Auburn assistant coach Brian Bohannon Thursday.

I'll be watching the South AL / USM game at 7 PM. Should be good.

Delaware comes from four back, plating two in the 8th and two in the B9th to tie Arizona at 5-5 in an elimination game. The winning run is at third base with two outs.

Ben McDonald and the play-by-play guy were mystified when they saw SLU execute the 2 run suicide squeeze against LSU and Lange ... scoring both the runner from third and Seward from second ... going on about how they have never seen that before. :-)

Well, the Cajuns have executed it several times, including against SEC foe, Alabama.

Texas - Long Beach State is a good one. Catch the highlight of Rasmussen attempting to score on an inside the park HR and win it for the Dirtbags in the B11th with two outs. Also, some amazing plays to get to that point.
