    Default St. Peters

Played two games today and lost both (no surprise)... 1-19 and 2-12.

    Dropping to 0-37.

    Wow. Just wow.

Only one more chance to mess up that perfect season.

    Saturday @ Manhattan.

Going 0 fer in college baseball, especially in that conference, has to qualify them for one the worst teams ever. At least in major college sports.

Going winless in football is bad, but you only get 12 or so opportunities. Basketball is around 30. But Saint Peters baseball had 38 chances (still a game to go.) And it's baseball! The great equalizer. Plus it's in the Northeast where the teams are not very good to begin with. So even when the bad teams you played had bad pitching nights, couldn't hit, made errors.....you stunk worse. Every time!

College teams like Prairie View football and NJIT basketball come to mind as being aweful for long stretches. Saint Peters has to be on that list now.

The Cajuns sucked a few times this year. Had we won some games that were well within in reach, then it would be easier to look past Saint Peters' performance. Given the RPI circumstances and the fact that message board banter is fun, I think a lot of Cajun fans will agree with this simple sentiment.

    Saint Peters, you guys suck.

The only sports team they have worth a bean is men's basketball. Pull up the rest of their sports schedules/results. Absolutely horrible, from tennis to volleyball to cross country.

Are you thinking Coach Bab called the first baseman to schedule the series?

What if St. Peters had a single win, and it came against UL.

What would happen to UL's RPI?

I'm fantasizing that UL's RPI would go up

The OWP doesnt factor in your games with that team. So they would still contribute .000 for that. And our WP would be down. And frankly any team that lost to them would have automatically been withdrawn from postseason consideration

Of course it would go down (the same amount as any other home loss) ... and Saint Peter's contribution to Louisiana's OWP would still be .000. OOWP contribution would also be unaffected.

Mark Wahlberg is definitely going to play the 21 year old pitcher who throws a CG shutout

Hopefully a lesson is learned this year.

Lesson would be, score more than 3 runs a game and you might have a chance to win way more games. Wonder what our record and RPI would be if we score as many runs as South Al.

I am sure they are taking enough grief we Needed to win more games and take care of business here.

They already pushed the season back two weeks to level playing fields. and no I don't want less baseball, thanks. Why does everybody deserve the same outcome, regardless of ability?

That's what is wrong anymore. Everybody wants to dumb down everything to the lowest common denominator. I think they call it trickle-up misery.

.....that was years ago when they won a respectable 10-15 games per year.
