Not sure if there is any interest from the Saints, but if so, they can just sign him from the Browns' practice squad to their active roster.

The only way to poach someone from another team's practice roster is to sign him to the actual game day roster of your team. That can happen at anytime throughout the season. Of course you have to cut someone to make room for that guy. On the other hand if someone is hurt and goes on injured reserve, that makes room on your squad for a practice squad poach, usually at the position of the guy you put on injured reserve.

Yeah that's pretty far back, Bustle, Hud, Napier year two. Bustle had numerous NFL players, and some of the best were Baldwin recruits.

In his not to short three years here, Baldwin had a half dozen recruits make the NFL.

Still I credit Bustle and is staff for getting them there.

Eli is RB3 on their depth chart behind Nick Chubb and De'Erest Johnson. Johnson is more of a kick returner. I could see the coaching staff trusting Eli more than a one year guy who came from the AAF.

Elijah McGuire's stint on the Cleveland Browns' 53-man active roster lasted just one game.

I'm sure Cleveland's going to put him back on the PS. This is just clearing the spot for the RB that's coming back.

Dang. Hope he gets another shot somewhere. I would have never guessed his NFL career might be this short.

He would thrive in the saints offense, I know Jake was pushing Sean Payton to look at him. Put him on the practice squad and if he was ever activated he would be an instant fan favorite
