Final official time was 4.53. 12th fastest of the RB's
36" vertical jump is 6th best of RB's (7.5" higher than Fournette)
120" broad jump is 12th best of RB's
All in all, very solid numbers. Still havent posted the cone and shuttle drills which I think he will do well at
He's going to shine in route running and catching drills.
he will be drafted in rounds 4 or 5
I thought overall he had a good day....I had a good friend at the combine....he really liked him a lot in the pass drills....
Yesterday On Houston sports talk radio a guy was talking about how Fournette showed up over weight. He was questioning his dedication. When they asked him who his favorite football player is his reply was that he wasn't a real big football fan growing up.
McCaffrey is also the leader in the 60 yard shuttle (11.03).
Ragin' Cajuns Running Back Elijah McGuire made himself some money at the NFL Combine.
The rest of the story
"NFL Scouts watched on as McGuire led the pack in the 20-yard shuttle with a time of 4.56 seconds, he came in third at the 60-yard shuffle at 11.78 seconds, and he placed fifth in the three-cone drill. For running backs, those are possibly the three most important events, and McGuire put on a show."
McGuire tied for last in the 20-yard shuttle (16 RBs). He did not finish third in the 60-yard shuttle ... he finished sixth of eight RBs. He did not finish 5th in the 3-cone drill ... he tied for 11th among 16 RBs.
And Hud used him as a battering ram. Good job, dumbass.
