    State budget cutbacks?

I was really hoping we'd find someone to replace Guillory as a weekend starter.

Schmidt will be the 3rd starter as soon as he gets over some soreness.

Giving up 1 run might be too much

Robe was talking about hitting tight. Well the same is going to go for pitching if we cannot consistently score runs. Pitchers will tighten knowing that if they give up 1 or 2 runs, there is a very good chance they will lose. When that happens, here comes the big innings for the opposing team.

Guillory gets out of 2 on, no out.

    0-1 through 2

____ing ridiculous to get picked off after he's already been close twice. Just stupid.

Look, I know it's early in the season but this offense is atrocious. It's boring, embarrassing, and unacceptable for the athletes we have.

    Edwards singles, gets picked off.

    Stolke (sp) strikes out.

    Robbins strikes out.

    This is pretty awful.

Through three innings, their guy has his career high in strikeouts already.

Anyone who thinks Talbot isn't to blame needs to wake the ____ up.

I don't know if this is completely accurate but it seemed like with Deggs, players had a role on the team and they knew what to do when they got up to the plate. The guys are now just swinging wildly.
