Then what was the excuse every year it has happened before? Coach Robe isn't perfect. I don't think even he is above using a good excuse to gloss over an underlying issue that has been plaguing this team for several years way longer than any construction. That and really Robe is a pitching coach.

There was nothing wrong with the batting cages. Any good hitter can easily transfer the muscle memory (swing) they worked on in the cage and translate it to live pitching very quickly. Our hitters, on paper, should be way above average. They have been looking like below average at best.

Below average? We are averaging, what, 8-10ks a game?

We are an embarrassment at the plate right now. No other way to put it.

    I applaud your effort.

4 unofficial games into the season and my patience is all but gone.

Did Robe just blame this loss on passed balls?

Maybe he is blaming the game on Monica. He did have some passed balls and a KKK member tonight.

Someone correct me if I am mistaken.
Lots already substituted... Will be interesting to see what line-up we come out with. Wonder if Stover had already been used... He would be a good fill-in.

    Players available on bench:

    Lott, Spears, Poncho

    Pitching options:

Marks, Huval, Erbe, Norman, Charpentier, Armstrong

    Current lineup:

    5 Robbins
    4 Conrad
    2 Monica
    DH Sensley
    9 Stover
    3 Pinero
    6 Kasuls
    7 Edwards
    8 Williams
1 Colton Lee (will be out with injury)

Stoelke, Fontenot, Lafleur, Antchak already played and were subbed out

2 outs, runner on first for SELA in the B11

If we get out of the inning, Conrad is due up.

Also, Joe Robbins avg is going to take a hit once the game is completed as he was 0/6. Sensley's will go up since he was 3/5

The Weather Channel says that Hammond should be dry until midnight. The bad stuff is just now leaving us in Houston heading into Beaumont.

We are getting hammered here in Pasadena. Hopefully it is moving slowly enough for the game to finish.
