What do you consider a "high" draft pick? I think if you're expecting Eli to go anywhere before the 4th round, you are gonna be disappointed, and I doubt he goes in the 4th.

Pittsburg,Dallas,New Orleans, San Francisco, Denver, Miami, Carolina and New England all use a form zone blocking. That would be the perfect fit for Eli.

I could see him going in the 4th to a team like Carolina or Pittsburgh.

Maybe Dallas in the 5th.They are shopping Morris to other teams.

He would be the best player avaliable as a 6-7 round pick.

I would consider anything 4th round or earlier to be a "high" draft pick. He has the skills and athleticism to go 3rd round but I'm expecting him to go in 4 or 5.

At least they didn't change Eli's quote when he said "UL".

The more you downplay a great person and athlete, the more their fire and desire builds.......

    Good luck, Eli

  11. UL Football McGuire: 'I just want an opportunity'

By week's end, the name of UL running back Elijah McGuire could get called in the NFL Draft.

If it is, there is no mistaking what it would mean to the former quarterback from Vandebilt Catholic High in Houma.

With Forte and Powell as 1st and 2nd string, Eli has a great shot for 3rd string!

Forte is still OK, but is a high mileage guy.
