It means Jay will be very busy at the National Coaches Convention.

I know the message is the next man to coach the Gophers best not remotely be a "players coach" if sexual allegations are alleged and keep his mouth shut.

That must be a "fun" locker room since the team backed down with their no play threat.

What a joke of an administration!! Well hopefully they have a legit qb transfer that prefers the Sun and rain as opposed to snow and sleet!!

Players backed down when they were provided firm evidence their teammates had "misbehaved". Jay Johnson has been let go as well. I am sure he will find something soon. Also, Heyward Register's brother is still on the Minnesota football team from what I understand. He was a redshirt freshman this past year.

I hope Jay finds his way back to Lafayette. I wonder if he's ready to be the head guy yet... I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Jay is very genuine. Always thought he'd be a good pick when HUD was the"hot" coach and we thought he was leaving any day. A lot has changed in a couple years!

I hope he makes it to Lafayette too.

    Go Leopards.

Seriously though, perhaps Hud will consider a reset and welcome him back to Louisiana.

I'd take Jay back either as OC or Head Coach.

It seems no-one is impressed with Les Miles.

Jay Johnson to directional Michigan school?

I feel for the guy. Great individual that is going to have his name tied to the mishandled situation of the head coach at Minnesota. It's probably gonna be a ruff year for him until this blows over and is forgotten about. I just hope he had an extended contract and not a year by year.

Is that speculation, or do you have information?

You gotta be kidding. I don't think one victory on the Pioneer Bowl is enought reason to bring him back. He must be about 72 by now. The Screaming Eagles need an up and comer, not some washed up has been. And plus he kept that goofy Coach Van Dam around his entire tenure; what was that about?
