I think this is the best Sun Belt since the departure of WKU. We are improved. Plus, Arkansas State, Georgia State, and South Al will all be tough.

There are very good coaches in this league.

We wouldn't have UTA though or I guess we would as a replacement for Denver...we wouldn't have TXST or GSU i guess

This is ridiculous statement, no one ever said it is impossible. I guess our 2 wins on the road were miracles as well.

You know I love you like a brother, but the continual harping on points is exhausting. We will have some fun Saturday night after we beat the puppies. I really shouldn't call them puppies because I love puppies and hat LaTurd.

In truth, I'm just bitter and jealous of our peers beating named or ranked teams.

I'm ready for this program to bust loose and while the dome is a freaking palace, it's just making me more impatient.

Who is our best chance of accomplishing this? Georgia? That would be a nice win and a good start. I haven't looked at our opponents RPI but I'd imagine they would be near the top in terms of our opponents' RPI and a name win.

Just a guess on my part.. But I don't think our players think in terms of RPI or OOWP or W/L or whatever.. I think they see LaTech on the front, they see Georgia. A win against those teams would boost their confidence, no matter what the rankings or whatever, and that's what I think is important to them/for them.

You are right. I'm talking about in terms of helping strengthen the perception of the SBC this year. Other teams have had nice wins. What is our chance to add to that category? Certainly LA Tech is a good start for us and maybe they are considered a good win for the conference. Our schedule just seems so weak that it will be hard to really contribute to that conference number.

I think Georgia would be a nice win, from a competition stand point. But also, the name recognition helps that perception you mentioned.
