One half of the scaffolding on the home plate side of the stadium has been lowered to the ground.
Scaffolding is being lowered and they will move to other locations on the job.
Are there going to be banners in the open areas of the facade?
Pixus a great job of signage around the complex.
Would be icing on the cake!
Have they started bricking the first base side of the stadium?
Funny you should ask. These are from the outside.
These are from the inside. I cropped one to show how the upper concourse will have a brick wall the end to end. It will follow along the front side of the club level (above the grandstand seating) to keep the same look. Very nice.
Now which park looks best? Russo or the one by the river in refineryville. A bunch of beams with a few boxes thrown in.
HelmutVII and all the picture posters. You make my life bearable.
They didn't repaint the red bleachers, right? Seems they looked more faded last year
1. the gap between the pre-existing and new bleachers - will the old be replaced to match the new ones? (See pic)
2. How are they going to remove the office on the 3rd base line to match with the new walls of the stadium? In the rendings, the office is not there.
1. The bleachers down the lines will eventually be replaced and aligned at the same angle as the new stadium. No time table for that to happen right now.
2. The existing clubhouse will eventually be replaced with a new one at a different location. No definitive timeline as of now but sooner than later. Hopefully very soon.
I know the home dugout has always been on the third base line, but pro ballparks are typically on the first base side. I wonder, if the new clubhouse is built where the current hitting cages are located alongside Reinhardt Drive, would they consider switching dugouts. You could access the first base dugout area from the new clubhouse area and use the old clubhouse for visiting teams. Just imagineering.
