I've heard about this thing they call leadership. Never seen it though. Sounds like something that makes every magical and shiny, instead of everything a miserable failure. What that must be like!!

So you're saying we have a chance. LOL.

I'm sure the Big 12 can't wait to add UL-L, no ULL, no UL Lafayette, no UL Laf, no U La La, no Lafayette, no Louisiana Lafayette, no Louisiana. Yeah, that's it Louisiana. That's the ticket.

It doesn't work like that...you don't recruit fun belt players to play in the big 12...you start recruiting big 12 players to play in the big 12....none of it matters because we have noshot, but this is an often misunderstood concept. You would take your lumps early but eventually you start getting those P5 level players across the board.

Houston's President is a woman, Dr. Khator, who has taken them to new heights academically and athletically. She is a major public figure in Houston. She is always in the news around the city of Houston, speaking, being quoted, and advocating for the university. She has stated that athletics is Houston's window to the world and will do whatever is needed to get UH athletics seated at the right table as that reflects on UH's reputation and perception. She has the President of UT, the Governor and Lt. Governor of Texas now supporting UH for inclusion in the Big 12. UL, on the other hand ...

Is Iowa state in the middle of a recruiting hotbed in the Deep South? Like you said we are almost doing better from the sunbelt. Where was TCU 10 years ago? How could they ever compete in the big 12? They would be a punching bag coming from cusa and the mountain west and big east. We beat houston at Houston 10 years ago and they just beat the defending national champion in a bowl game and are a candidate for the big 12.

LOL or at least the 7 existing founding members, thus qualifying for automatic bids immediately.
