Thread: OT: Latest Shooting Tragedy in Baton Rouge

Let me reiterate, I am not anti gun, I am anti assault rifle. Yes criminals can get a hold of them but countries who have banned them have greatly reduced the gun violence rate. The Orlando shooter bought that gun legally. I would like my chances against a hand gun any day against an assault rifle.

I haven't owned any weapon in twenty plus years. I don't give a damn if VO, Basinbear own automatic weapons, or muskets.

Your fear of the weapon is misplaced. Your trust of the government is also misplaced. The government is why we have a 2nd amendment b

    No joke

Say we do ban "assault" rifles. The root of the issue is still there: a coward on the loose who wants and is willing to murder people.

A witness described hearing at least 25 to 30 gunshots in the area of the B Quick store on Airline Hwy. It started shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

"I walked out into the street to see what was going on, there was a man lying in the street," the witness said. "I assume he was dead because he wasn't moving."

The witness believes the shooting started before police arrived.

During a call to dispatch an officer said, "unknown where the shots are coming from."

There's certainly the possibility that the prior shooting was a ruse. It's early yet.

8 cops caught crossfire? Possible, but not likely.

Almost as silly as making it about a really durable rifle.

Banning "assault rifles" would be about as effective as Scott farmer in conference realignment

Scott Farmer would miss the mark if he turned the Assault rifle on himself.🙄

Way to go America. We've successfully allowed the media and the liberal left to scramble our brains into unprecedented division. Any person that targets cops, especially for race only, should be hung in a public setting, with every news camera, iPhone, whatever in attendance and broadcast to the world. You POS want to challenge our law and order, our way of life, our heritage, our traditions?!

And the techie can shove his "assault rifle" comment up his ___. No tragedy can take place without someone rushing to push an agenda. The perp attacked the Cops. THE PERP.
