"Trosclair was instrumental in the Ragin' Cajuns' four wins last week, including a three-game sweep of UL Monroe, which led the Ragin' Cajuns to a share of the league's regular season crown.
Trosclair hit .444 (8-for-18) on the week with three doubles, two triples a home run and eight RBI while slugging 1.000 with a .474 on base percentage. Trosclair posted multiple hits and RBI in three of the four games on the week. With a share of the conference championship on the line in game two of the ULM series, Trosclair came up with the walk-off winning RBI double in the 11th to lift the Cajuns to a 6-5 victory.
Trosclair then drove in three runs in the series finale. He tied a school record with two triples in game two of the series. Trosclair raised his average from .257 to a season-best .273 after the four-game week.
The Ragin' Cajuns earned the top overall seed in this week's conference championship as they look to win their third consecutive tournament title. They open up play in the championship on Wednesday, May 25 in the final game of day one at 7:30 p.m. CT against eighth-seeded Arkansas State."
