If we are 5-7, we should turn down any bowl bid that's offered.

No team with a losing record should be in a bowl game. Period.

    Always take a bowl.

Its an event, not a reward.

They are all MAC schools and they all beat Eastern Michigan this year.

you are on the right track!!!! even more specifically, they all held E. Michigan to less points than the vaunted SEC defensive juggernaut of our beloved purple and yellow "flagship"

Yea but you can't compare that kinda stuff. Elite level athletes don't get "up" to play schools like E Michigan. That's why trap games happen.

I knew someone would say that, but isn't that an easy excuse to further the very narrative of these "big boys" in the power five. how does playing this amazing e.mich team spin their strength of schedule argument then?

Maybe Ole Miss women's basketball can use that excuse.

Monroe would like that. They would still have a coach right now.

I don't see why the schedule is relevant t to what I said. You can't compare stats from game to game in most cases, but you definitely can't compare them when an elite level team like LSU plays the likes of E Michigan. No one gets up for the kind of competition, people barely go to those games. 3rd and 4th string players get PT. Teams like LSU have one goal in those games: get out healthy.
